A new year is often marked by reflection and anticipation. It is important, however, to exercise wisdom in how we look back and how we look ahead. Some people get stuck in the past, either because they are convinced that their best days are behind them, or because they think their past failures have ruined any future potential. There is a reason your rear-view mirror is much smaller than your windshield. Seeing where you’re going is more important than looking back at where you’ve been.

Our theme for 2026 is “Forward.” We are “forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead!” (Php. 3:13).

Moving forward begins with faith-filled prayer! We must believe God’s words, contend for God’s will, and commit ourselves to following God’s ways. That’s why we are dedicating the month of January to a focus on Prayers of Faith! The best is yet to come.
