Many believers underestimate the power and effectiveness of their own prayers. Feelings of insecurity intimidate them from praying with any real confidence. They rely on the prayers of others, while their own prayer lives are limited to short cries for help only in times of crisis. Then, because their prayer lives are so shallow, they struggle with shame and insecurity - right where the enemy wants them.

One of satan’s greatest fears is a person who prays. The Apostle James wrote: “The prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective!” We pray to a God who hears us! We pray in the mighty name of Jesus! We pray the promises of the Word of God! We pray empowered by the Holy Spirit! We pray in faith and with great expectation! Our prayers are powerful and effective!
